Gabrielle Landi grew up maxing out her library card, reading multiple books in a day, and playing “Narnia” with her many siblings. When a friend dared her to join Camp Nano at the age of 15, she’d never attempted to write fiction before, but she successfully wrote an absolutely terrible first novel, and never stopped.
She lives in Southern Indiana with her husband, children, and their cat, who loves interrupting her by sitting on her keyboard.
If she had to write her own love story in tropes, it would include second chance romance and a secret relationship, and would be entirely unbelievable.
She loves writing sweet romances with no spice, lots of love, and guaranteed happily ever afters. Watching Hallmark movies is one of her favorite hobbies, and she does her best to incorporate that perfectly cheesy, sweet type of romance into everything she writes.

Why Small Town Romance and Cozy Fantasy Romance?
When I started writing as a teen, I wrote sweet fantasy romances with low stakes. But back then, there wasn’t a market for fantasy with low stakes. Everything that was being published had high stakes, and I was terrible at writing those. So I put those to the side and started writing sweet small town romances, which I also loved!
But then Legends and Lattes burst on the scene and Cozy Fantasy was suddenly a thing, and I realized it was the sort of fantasy I used to write.
I couldn’t wait to start writing fantasy again, and burst through the first draft of my new fairytale retelling, Once Upon An Apple, in seven days. It was so much fun being back in a fantasy world with lords, ladies, and baby goats!
I am so excited to rejoin the world of fantasy writers, and plan to write in both worlds going forward!
